Charlton Athletic have re-signed striker Jason Euell, five years after he left The Valley.
Euell, pictured, scored 37 goals in 155 appearances for the Addicks between 2001-2006, and has agreed a one-year contract to become manager Chris Powell's 16th signing of the summer.
The 34-year-old, a free agent after being released by Blackpool in May, had been training with the Addicks and was a late substitute in last month's 0-0 draw at Woking.
Euell, who can also play in midfield, then started up front for Charlton in a fixture at Bromley, scoring in a 4-0 win at Hayes Lane.
He cost Charlton a then-club record £4.75million when he joined from Wimbledon in July 2001, finishing as top scorer in his first three seasons. He left for Middlesbrough in August 2006 and signed for Southampton in 2007 before helping Blackpool win promotion to the Premier League in 2009-10.
A former Jamaica international, Euell played three Premier League games for Blackpool in the 2010-11 campaign before joining Doncaster Rovers on loan.
