An 11-year-old girl is is said to be recovering well after being hit by a car.

The girl suffered serious head injuries after she was struck by a red Kia Picanto in Watling Street, Dartford, at 8.25pm on Saturday, August 14.

She was taken to a London hospital, where her condition is improving.
