The stolen babies on Mr May's farm in Farningham

A goat breeder has been left devastated after two of his baby goats were stolen from a farm.

Wayne May, 41, said his three-day-old twin Arapawa goats had been taken from the farm in Farningham between 9pm and 5.30am.

Mr May is one of only a handful of breeders of the endangered Arapawa goat species in the UK and believes the goats may have been taken to be exported.

He has contacted Dover Port, Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, and Kent Police's wildlife officer in the hope of finding the goats.

He said: "I reckon I have about 12 hours to find them or they very well may die, they might start to reject their mother's milk.

"I feel like crying. Somebody may have taken them with a view to exporting them out of the country or people who don't know may have just nicked my goats."

Kent Police have been informed and are investigating.
