Dartford's fairytale debut season in the Blue Square Bet Premier continued with a 2-0 win at fellow high-fliers Grimsby on Saturday.
The home side - defending a 10-match unbeaten record - controlled the early stages in front of 4,009 fans.
But fifth-placed Darts grew into the match and took the lead in the 51st minute when Tom Champion (pictured) found the bottom corner from just inside the area.
The Mariners pushed for an equaliser but Darts made sure of the points six minutes from time courtesy of Adam Birchall's solo run and finish.
It was Birchall's first goal for Darts since joining the club on a month's loan from Gillingham.
