DARTFORD new-boy Adam Gross will make his home debut in the FA Trophy third qualifying round replay against Blue Square South side St Albans at Princes Park tonight (Tuesday)
Left back Gross (22) signed on a month's loan from Grays late last week, played in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Clarence Park, and boss Tony Burman said: "He came in and did ok, has a lot of experience at a higher level, and I am delighted to get him. It's a position I have been looking to fill for some time."
Lee Noble, Danny Dafter and Cody McDonald are all expected to shake-off knocks picked up at the weekend, and Burman added: "St Albans are a very good side, but we went there and stopped the rot after three successive defeats, the major plus for us was keeping a clean-sheet."
Tonight's winners are away to Blue Square Premier Stevenage, but Burman added: "I am not thinking any further ahead than tonight. We have a job to be done, to get the right result against St Albans, and if we do it will be a fantastic achievement."
WELLING travel to Southampton to face British Gas South & West side AFC Totton, after being held to a 1-1 draw at Park View Road on Saturday The winners will be at home to Weymouth next month.
