Motorists are currently facing queuing traffic on the M25 this evening.

There are long delays of up to 30 minutes on the M25, anticlockwise before the Dartford Crossing.

It has also been reported that there is congestion to J3, the M20 Swanley interchange.

Kent County Council Highways confirmed there is slow-moving traffic on the A282 anticlockwise heading towards the Dartford Crossing between M25 J3 and the Dartford Tunnel.

A spokesman said: “Please allow extra time for your journey.”
