A postbox has been given a new look complete with pink pompoms and flamingos.

The novelty hat has appeared on top of the red letter box in Shepherds Lane, Dartford.

Residents in the area have been left amused but somewhat puzzled by the fun addition.

One reader sent us a snap and said: "It's delightful and cheers everyone up."

Some other postboxes have also been dressed up in the Eltham area.
