More on KentOnline
If you take a decent photograph but have never had the chance to see your work on display, we may be able to help.
We are producing a Messenger 2011 calendar and would love to show off some of our readers' photographic talents.
We can't promise examples of your work will hang in the National Photographic Gallery, but they might get plenty of exposure in thousands of kitchens.
We're looking for photographs to accompany each month in our calendar.
We may use some pictures of our own, but the best photographs submitted by you, our readers, will also be considered.
We know there is plenty of amateur talent out there, more than enough to provide suitable photographs from January to December.
And when we say "suitable", feel free to take a lateral view. For example, April does not have to be about newborn lambs or chicks, and December about Christmas trees and holly.
Photographs of people, studies of human nature, just plain nature, something nautical or nice, the historic or even the quirky will all be considered.
It could even be a photograph taken during a special activity at your school or celebration at your club or organisation.
There is no payment, but we know from experience that for most amateur photographers, having their work shown to a wider audience is very often reward enough.
And there is no age limit either. We will accept pictures from budding photographers of any age.
The photographs should be of good quality, in jpeg format and a minimum of 1Mb in size.
Please email your entries, along with your name, address, telephone number and a few details of where the photo was taken to gmdfcomps@thekmgroup.co.uk
