Traffic delays were reported on the approach to the Dartford crossing this morning (Sunday).

Earlier reports said the M25 anticlockwise had been blocked and traffic was stationary for a while due to an accident at the junction 2 of the A2 (Darenth Interchange).

All traffic was being held while closures of lanes one and two (of three) was implemented to get the traffic moving again.

Kent Police say they received a report of a single-vehicle collision at 6.15am.

Officers attended the scene at junction 2 of the London-bound M25.

A woman was treated by SECamb at the scene.

The slip road was clear by 7.55am.
