An investigation has been launched after fire broke out at a house in Bean last night.
Two Dartford fire crews attended an address in Bramble Avenue at 7.40pm after the blaze was reported in the ground floor.
The owners were out of the semi-detached home when firefigters arrived before they extinguished flames using a hose reel.
The cause is under investigation. Crews left the home at an hour after arriving.
Forensic officers were seen inside the house this morning while police officers stationed themselves outside.
The owners were not at home.
