Firefighters are investigating after tyres and waste material went up in flames.

Crews were called to Beechenlea Lane, Swanley just before 3.20pm following reports of the blaze believed to have been in a field.

Two fire engines attended, and crews used hoses to extinguish a large amount of tyres and waste material on fire.

Nobody was injured and the flames were out by 3.45pm.

The cause is not yet known.
