PART of the Dartford tunnel is closed after two lorries collided and got stuck inside.

The tunnel's west bore has been shut off since 7am to enable the Highways Agency to remove the vehicles.

Traffic can still use the east bore, but queues have been stretching back to junction three of the M25 at Swanley.

It is not clear when the section of tunnel will re-open, but a Highways Agency spokesman said they were "well under way with clearing the scene".
