A YouTube star from Kent taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing will be performing a Cha Cha dance on the show this evening and it's Movie Week.

The singer, who earned a spot at the top of the leaderboard for the second week running last week, will be dancing to Don’t Go Breakin’ My Heart from the computer-animated fantasy romantic comedy film, Gnomeo and Juliet.

Harvey Cantwell, better known as HRVY, will take to the dance floor with partner Janette Manrara, on what will be a very different show this week.

Judge Craig Revel Horwood has revealed filming Strictly Come Dancing this week without a live audience, will be "quite difficult".

There there won't be any fans in the studio because of England's lockdown.

He told The Jonathan Ross Show it's a new way of entertainment and looking at things, but it's "fantastic" it’s still going ahead.

HRVY, who is 21 and from Hartley - who used to go to Dartford's Leigh Academy, last week scored a total of 24 points.

Combined with the previous week's score, HRVY is joint top of the leaderboard with 49 points alongside EastEnders star Maisie Smith and her partner Gorka Márquez.

The pop star, who has performed in front of sold out shows with the likes of Little Mix and The Vamps, admitted last week he found the switch from the energetic jive to the stripped back ballroom dance 'really difficult'.

But the last week, the judges were still impressed as Motsi Mabuse who described HRVY's jive as 'the best first dance ever' was equally as moved.

After scoring him an impressive nine she said: "You came with a whole different type of energy.

"You are a diamond in the sky, I'm enjoying everything you're doing on this show so keep it up."

Although hard to impress Craig Revel Horwood called the performance 'a little bit erratic', last week, he scored HRVY a seven after complimenting his standing spin as 'absolutely on it'.

Despite the compliments, perhaps the stand out moment of the night last week for HRVY was a video message from his Grandmother Joyce who is his biggest supporter.

She shared how proud of him she was in an emotional tribute which made him tear up during his interview with Claudia Winkleman after the performance.

Previously HRVY told KentOnline nerves nearly got the better of him on the night and he even asked the show's producers if he could perform anywhere but last on the billing.

However, he soon sprung into action and was met with unanimous approval by the judges and his fans.

Strictly Come Dancing will be on BBC one at 7.25pm this evening.
