An ambitious youngster has put us all to shame by securing his dream job at the age of just seven.
Kit Cranston, from Meopham, has been honing his dancing, acting and singing skills at a talent school in Sevenoaks and was signed up to appear in an advert for a major toy brand.
It means his first job will see him playing with the coolest new toys on television screens up and down the country.
Kit said: “I was very happy when mummy told me I got the job. I was excited to play with toys and not nervous at all.”
He was one of 60 children at Make Believe Sevenoaks, at Lady Boswell’s Church of England Primary School in Plymouth Drive, when he was spotted and snapped up by MB Talent.
Branch manager Kim Thursfield is confident that he will go on to have a successful career.
She said: “When I first saw Kit in class, I knew he had something special. He certainly has the cute factor and has so much confidence for such a young boy, he will go far.”
Mum Alyson said: “I was really elated when I found out Kit was chosen and then a little bit nervous for him, but he’s so chatty and confident I knew he would do a great job and he didn’t let me down.”
Make Believe was founded in 2004 and has schools in and around London teaching youngsters the basic skills in the performing arts.
