A kitten was rescued from a car after it was discovered inside the engine.

Crews from Dartford were called to Sainsbury’s car park at the Priory Centre on Saturday after the cat was discovered in a Ford Galaxy.

Firefighters received the call at 12.40pm and after freeing the cat, it was cared for by Sainsbury’s staff before being handed over to the RSPCA.
