Police are hunting an armed robber who jumped over a shop counter and threatened staff.

The raider brandished a large kitchen knife as he demanded workers open the till at the Co-Op store in Chastillian Road, Dartford.

He then climbed over the counter and repeated his threats before running out of the shop and fleeing down Denver Road.

The raid happened at 7.45am yesterday.

Police have now released a photo of a man they want to speak to.
