Weapons including baton, knuckle duster and drugs discovered after police search home in Green Street Green Road, Dartford

Knives, an extendable baton and a knuckle duster were among weapons seized after police were called to “suspicious behaviour” at a home.

Drugs were found after officers carried out a search at a property in Green Street Green Road, Dartford in the early hours of Saturday, February 22.

Police discovered cannabis, as well as deal bags and two mobile phones, which were all seized.

A 27-year-old man from the area was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.

Officers also then searched a nearby property where a large number of weapons were recovered.

The suspect was further arrested.

Chief Inspector Will Lay said: “The weapons that my officers recovered have no place in our communities.

“We are committed to stamping out violent crime and drugs misuse in Kent, and by taking items such as these off the streets, we continue to make our county a safer place in which to live, visit and work.”
