Lanes were shut off after a six-vehicle pile-up on the M20.
The stretch west-bound between J2 for Wrotham and Brands Hatch J3 for the M25 and the A20 was affected.
Four cars, a motorbike and a lorry were involved in the accident.
Police have since launched an appeal for witnesses.
