It was all a little late, but none of that mattered when Dylan Catley and Zoe Lee were crowned New Ash Green Primary School’s May king and queen.

The pair were joined by their attendants Kate Morgan, Lucy Wykes, Harry Dunn and Noah Thomas for the crowning ceremony at a head teacher’s assembly.

Dylan and Zoe were voted in after a vote by Year 5 pupils.

They will help out at the local fete and village day, and will lead next year’s Spring Hat parade.
