A goal on his first start by French defender Doran Dervite earned a 1-1 draw for Charlton at Leeds United on Tuesday night.
Dervite found the net with a low drive five minutes into the second half to cancel out Davis Norris’ 37th-minute opener.
Boss Chris Powell, pictured, made four changes to the side who lost 1-0 at home to Barnsley on Saturday, with Dervite sitting in front of the defence in a 4-1-4-1 formation.
Charlton produced a performance full of passion and determination and they would have taken all three points but for Leeds goalkeeper Paddy Kenny.
The former QPR stopper produced two outstanding late saves to deny Charlton substitute Bradley Wright-Phillips and also did well to keep out Chris Solly.
The draw leaves Charlton 18th in the Championship ahead of their game at Wolves on Saturday.
