Charlton returned from Leyton Orient with a 3-1 win under their belts in League 1 on Friday night, despite having captain Christian Dailly sent off.
An unmarked Alan McCormack headed Charlton in front after 27 minutes when he got on the end of Simon Francis’ cross from the right.
But the home side got level when Charlton were unable to clear a cross and Scott McGleish scored at the far post after 49 minutes.
Dailly then saw red two minutes later following a clash with Stephen Dawson.
But the visitors rallied and, on the break, Lee Martin played in Scott Wagstaff who found the back of the net on 62 minutes.
Wagstaff then turned goal-creator when he set up substitute Chris Solly for the third on full-time.
