Commuters face long delays after a multi-vehicle crash closed two lanes of the M25 this evening.

Three vehicles collided on the M25 anticlockwise at junction 1B for the A282 and A296 Princes Road, just before 4pm.

Initially all four lanes were closed, causing traffic to build up on the motorway, stretching back to Junction 2 for the Darenth Interchange.

Police and ambulances were called but there are not thought to be any serious injuries.

All lanes are now open.
