There are long delays on the approached to the Dartford Tunnel after an earlier incident.

Queues are stretching back from along the M25 towards junction three and the Swanley Interchange.

According to traffic monitoring tool Inrix, there had been an earlier full closure of the tunnel.

This lasted half an hour while emergency services responded to an “earlier medical incident”.

There are currently delays of 30 minutes against expected traffic, says National Highways.

Police has been contacted for more details.
