There are long delays on the approach to the Dartford Tunnel after an earlier crash.

Two lanes out of four were closed, but reopened at around 4pm.

Traffic is stretching back to junction 2 of the A2.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving two vehicles on the A282 at J1A, Dartford at 2.42pm on Tuesday 24 January 2017.

"Officers attended the scene along with The South East Coast Ambulance Service following a report of minor injuries.

"The vehicles were cleared from the carriageway just before 4pm."
