After a six-month refurb Bluewater's Marks and Spencer Foodhall is welcoming customers.
The official re-opening at the Bluewater store in Greenhithe, near Dartford, is taking place today – and Percy Pig will be there to welcome customers.
The food shop has undergone a top-to-bottom transformation over the last few months and has been designed with "customers and local families at its core".
The new design aims to help make shopping convenient and inspirational, with the addition of new and exciting in-store features such as interactive buttons and wine and coffee tasting stations.
Highlights in the brand-new Foodhall include a new fresh product displays full of produce grown by M&S Select farmers, an in-store bakery serving fresh bread and pastries and a Mai Sushi counter offering a wide range of dishes freshly prepared by chefs.
Store manager, Phil Crawley, said: "We cannot wait to show all our customers the amazing improvements we have been making in store.
"Whether you are looking for a convenient option for your big family food shop, or something exciting for lunch on the go – we have got you covered now, more than ever before."
The store is one of the first to have a 'Fill You Own' station where customers can bring or buy their own re-usable containers to fill with cereals or dry products.
At the official opening, the team will be handing out 200 golden tickets to the first customers through the door and each holder will be guaranteed a win – whether it is a free bag of Percy Pigs or freshly baked cookies.
One person will also be in with a chance to win a £200 M&S voucher.
The store is open Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday 8am to 9pm and on Sundays from 11am to 5pm.
