Emergency services were at the scene of a crash on the A2.

Traffic was queueing after a lorry and car collided on the coastbound carriageway near the Bean interchange.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called to the coastbound carriageway, A2, Bean at 4.35pm following a report of a collision.

"A lorry and a car were reported to have been involved.

"Officers are currently on the scene."

Traffic was released shortly after.
