Love Island winner Jack Fincham has been charged after his Cane Corso allegedly bit a man in Kent.
The reality TV star, from Swanley, is facing two counts of being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog.
It has been reported an incident which didn’t result in injury involving his pet Elvis took place in Grays, Essex, on June 12 this year.
The 33-year-old is also accused of being in control of the dog when it injured a man in Swanley on September 23, 2022, MailOnline reports.
He will appear at Southend-on-Sea Magistrates’ Court again on January 29.
Jack was crowned the winner of Love Island with ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer in 2018.
In March, he avoided jail after being caught speeding on false plates along the hard shoulder of the A2 while under the influence of cocaine.
He had been stopped by officers in an unmarked police car after they spotted him driving a white BMW without due care and attention near Dartford.
He admitted to using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance, driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road without due care and attention, and fraudulently using a registration.
Fincham was handed a 12-week suspended sentence, which was reduced from 16 weeks due to his early admission.
As of August 26, 2023, his only previous conviction was for drink driving in 2014.
However, in October 2023 he was convicted of two drug driving offences.
Fincham was given a community order which he remained under until last month.
He was also banned from driving until October 2029 and ordered to complete 250 hours of unpaid work and 10 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions.
Last month, he posted a picture on Instagram with his dog captioned: “My best friend in the whole world. Have a story to tell you very soon. Sometimes I think this country is done honestly”.
