Luxury cars worth hundreds of thousands of pounds which were damaged after a car transporter overturned were on their way to a driving experience event.
Police were called at 7.57pm on Wednesday to the incident on the A20 near Farningham.
Everyman Racing has confirmed the vehicles – which included an Aston Martin, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo and an Audi – had been used in driving events at Brands Hatch on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The cars were being transported to Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester for a driving experience event yesterday.
The Loughborough-based company has thanked staff and those who have contacted them since the accident.
Officers attended the scene where the driver of the transporter reported a minor injury.
The road was closed while arrangements were made to recover the vehicles.
In a statement yesterday, Everyman Racing said: “As the UK’s biggest and best driving experience provider, we’ve always enjoyed being top of the industry and yesterday was no exception.
“We are immensely proud of our HGV driver Richard, whose reflexes and quick thinking last night averted what could have been a nasty accident with other road users.
“The most important thing – no one was injured at all.
“Our dedicated team has rejigged a few arrangements and raided our extensive fleet and the Goodwood event is running as scheduled.”
