The M20 has been partially closed after a collision involving two vehicles.

Police were called to the eastbound carriageway between junctions 1 for Farningham and 2 for Wrotham at 11.20am after reports of a crash.

It is understood that one of the vehicles collided with the central reservation.

A woman, believed to be in her 40s, was treated at the scene and has been taken to hospital.

Lane three of the carriageway was closed while officers dealt with the incident.
