A woman is said to be "safe" and in the hands of ambulance crews after police were called to concerns for her welfare on a bridge over the M25.
The M25 is still blocked one way after police dealt with the woman on the bridge near the Dartford crossing.
Police say they were called out at around 9.30am this morning to "concerns for a woman's welfare" on a bridge near J1b near Princes Road in Dartford.
It was originally shut both ways, but the clockwise carriageway has now reopened.
A police statement just before midday said the woman was now safe and in the care of paramedics, and officers were in the process of reopening the road.
A spokesman said earlier: "Kent Police was called at 9.30am due to concern for the welfare of a woman on the bridge at Watling Street, Dartford, as it crosses the A282. "
