The M25 anti-clockwise in Kent has reopened after a multi-vehicle crash.
All traffic was temporarily held due to the collision at Junction 3 for the M20 at the Swanley Interchange.
All emergency services attended the scene, where it is understood that a van has overturned.
All vehicles involved in the incident have been moved to the hard shoulder and the lanes have fully re-opened.
Drivers are being warned to expect long delays and there is congestion back to Junction 4 at Orpington.
A 45 minute delay remains in the area with three miles of congestion but this is expected to ease.
Traffic was being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads at the roundabout.
National Highways first tweeted about the accident just after 5.30pm to say a lane had been closed.
By 5.45pm, the closure had been extended to the whole anticlockwise carriageway.
At 6.13pm, it tweeted: "Recovery has been arranged and is en-route.
"There's 4 miles of congestion on approach to the closure, allow extra journey time this evening."
