Three lanes have been closed on the approach to the Dartford Tunnel following a crash between a lorry and a car.

Crews from Dartford fire station were called to the incident at 4.45pm this afternoon.

But Kent Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed everyone involved had got out of the two vehicles by the time firefighters arrived.

Lanes two, three and four are currently closed on the southbound approach of the M25 between junctions 1a and 1b.

According to the Highways Agency normal traffic conditions were expected by 6pm.
