There were major delays on the London-bound A2 this morning after a crash involving a lorry and several cars.

Traffic is stretching back to the M2 for Rochester following the pile-up at the Black Prince Interchange at 6.15am.

The road was completely closed for an hour, and one lane of three remained shut between the A223 and the A221 Danson Interchange while the damaged vehicles are recovered.

There were delays of up to 30 minutes until 10am, when the road fully re-opened.
