A 21-year-old man has been arrested after police pursued two stolen vehicles around North Kent last night.
Officers were alerted to a suspicious vehicle towing a trailer in Horton Kirby at 10.35pm on Thursday March 28, and a police pursuit was authorised after the vehicle failed to stop.
The vehicle is believed to have lost its trailer during the chase, and it was later recovered by police.
The occupants then abandoned the vehicle in the Swanley area, and were reported to have left the scene on foot.
Police enquiries led to a further vehicle - a Land Rover - being stopped at 11.15pm in Hawley Road, Dartford.
A 21-year-old man was then arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, and remains in custody this morning.
