Dartford: Police called to High Road over fears of fuel theft attempt

A man has been arrested this morning following reports of suspicious behaviour.

Police were called to High Road, Dartford, at 3.17am and found a van with a number of empty containers.

The driver, who was a 51-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft and remains in custody.
