A man was beaten up after disturbing two suspected thieves in Crayford this morning.
A witness described how two teenagers in balaclavas had set upon the victim, shouting at him to 'mind his own business', at around 5am in Crayford Way.
"They were shouting and they were kicking this man on the floor," they said. "They were saying 'get in your own lane and mind your own business', because obviously he had disturbed them.
"He was quite a short man, and they were just young boys - they were no more than 17-years-old. They were both quite skinny."
The witness said both attackers were wearing balaclavas, one dressed in a grey tracksuit with a hooded top, and the other in a black tracksuit.
"Afterwards he got up and wobbled off down the road," they added. "He looked like quite a quiet person and I think he was in shock."
Police confirmed they were called at 5am to reports of a man being assaulted by two other men in Crayford Way, Dartford.
Officers attended but found no trace of the victim or suspects.
