A man arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary has been released on bail.
The incident, which happened at a property in Wentworth Drive in Dartford, prompted a large police presence in the area over the past week.
Forensic officers and police had been seen entering and leaving the home for several days.
Last Wednesday, five police vehicles were stationed along the road. One resident said at one point there were around eight cars.
They added: “They just keep coming and going.
"It’s a bit scary now because of the fact they have been here a while.”
A police spokeswoman said at the time: "Officers are carrying out inquiries at a house in Wentworth Drive, in connection to an aggravated burglary which was reported at 8.08pm on Sunday, November 20."
Last Thursday, a bomb disposal team turned up to join the investigation.
They left the premises just before midday the same day.
The house was not cordoned off, but police vehicles and officers were still there yesterday.
Police said a 31-year-old man from London arrested last Wednesday in connection with the incident had since been bailed until Tuesday, January 24, while further inquiries are carried out.
