A man has been charged with burglary after power tools were stolen from an empty house in Swanley.
Items including drills, a Titan ground breaker and a gas torch were reported stolen following a break-in at an address in Lynden Way, on Tuesday October 24.
Crime scene investigators found a window had been broken to gain access to the rear of the building, which was unoccupied and undergoing renovation at the time.
Colin Hobden, aged 25, was arrested on Monday November 13 at his home in Hart Dyke Road, Swanley. He was later charged with burglary and theft and bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday November 28.
