A man who was involved in a police chase has been charged with multiple offences.
The motorist was arrested earlier this week after a pursuit in Swanley ended with a 4x4 ending up on its side.
The pursuit began after officers saw a man leaving the Co-op service station, in London Road, Dartford, at around 8.30pm, carrying items reported to have been stolen.
The man got into the passenger seat of a car and drove away from the scene.
The officers pursued the car in a police vehicle and came to a stop following a collision in Daltons Road, Crockenhill.
William Mitchell, 29, of Berens Road, Orpington, was arrested at the scene.
He was later charged with dangerous driving, resisting police, driving without insurance or a licence and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Mitchell was remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court earlier today.
The other suspect ran away from the car following the crash and has not been found yet.
