A man has been charged with stealing a schoolboy’s bicycle at knifepoint in Dartford.

Jordan Lovett, 19, is accused of robbing the 16-year-old while in possession of a blade on Thursday June 29 in Suffolk Road.

He has also been charged with the attempted robbery of the boy’s 14-year-old friend during the same incident.

Mr Lovett, of Charlemont Road in East Ham, London, was remanded in custody by Medway magistrates on Thursday August 10 and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday September 7.
