A man will appear in court after being allegedly caught with a knife at Dartford station.

Harvey Brown, 43, of Uplands Close, Strood, was arrested after officers from British Transport Police (BTP) and Kent Police descended at around 6.30pm on Friday.

Brown was detained at the scene and he has since been charged with being in possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He has been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates Court next Wednesday, July 27.
