A 23-year-old man will appear in court after reports of a man wielding a "sword" on a train.
British Transport say Tevin Sinclair, of Slagrove Place, Ladywell, London, has been charged with one count of affray, one count of possessing an offensive weapon and one count of threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
The incident happened between Greenhithe and Dartford.
He was remanded to custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on February 22.
Armed police were sent to Dartford Station last Friday, and officers were seen carrying a long blade as man was seen being led away from the station.
Social media reports at the time said a man had got on a train at Greenhithe carrying a "samurai sword."
