A 29-year-old pedestrian has died after he was hit by a car in Swanley.

The man was involved in a collision with a silver Renault Clio on the B2173 Maidstone Road, near the junction with Hockenden Lane, just after 10pm last night.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car was not injured.
