Man found dead at Dartford railway station

A man has been found dead at Dartford railway station.

Officers were called to the station last night shortly before 9pm following concerns for the welfare of a male passenger.

Paramedics also attended but the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Platform 3 was closed for passengers while emergency services attended the incident and was later reopened around 10.30pm.

A BTP spokesperson said: "BTP officers were called to Dartford station last night at 8.54pm following concerns for the welfare of a male passenger.

"Officers and paramedics attended and found the man to be unresponsive. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene."

Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.
