Police officers, paramedics and firefighters were called to a quiet residential street after a car hit a wall.

The emergency crews arrived in Darent Mead in South Darenth at around 2.30pm.

A man was injured in the accident and taken to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries are unknown at this stage.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 2.27pm regarding a report that a car had struck a wall.

"Police officers, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service went to Darent Mead in Dartford where a man reported injuries. He has been taken to a local hospital for medical attention."
