Police are looking for witnesses after a horrific attack outside a Dartford nightclub left a man with serious facial injuries.

The 36-year-old was out with a friend when he was attacked close to Crush Lounge in Spital Street at 2.30am on Saturday, March 12.

The attack left the man needing surgery after suffering fractures to his face.

Investigators believe the incident may have been witnessed by revellers in and around Dartford town centre.

PC Deborah Cummings, who is in charge of the investigation, said: "This was a nasty attack which has had a devastating effect on the victim."
