A man accused of breaching his release conditions has been remanded in custody after allegedly striking a police officer in the face.
Ryan Holt attended Kent Police Headquarters in Northfleet last week as part of bail restrictions imposed on him.
The 21-year-old, of Littlebrook Manor Way, Dartford is alleged to have breached his licence following a burglary offence.
While at the front counter, he is alleged to have struck a police officer in the face.
Holt has been charged with actual bodily harm and appeared before Medway Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
He was remanded in custody to attend the same court tomorrow via video link for a case management hearing.
Police say the court has also been notified of allegations he breached his licence for release and will determine an appropriate course of action.
