Police were called to a 'peaceful protest' where a man stole a delivery driver's keys and sat on top of his van.
Leighton Corley confronted a DPD driver yesterday afternoon when he saw him reverse onto his front garden and leave marks in the grass.
The 44-year-old was expecting a delivery when he saw the driver 'ruining his grass' and asked him what he was doing.
The driver then drove off with Mr Corley's parcels after the confrontation.
The Dartford resident chased him down the road in his car and cornered him at the junction for Windermere Close before stealing his keys and refusing to give them back until speaking to a senior member of staff.
One DPD manager from Crayford headed down to the incident to try and resolve things.
However, after Mr Corley handed the drivers keys back he jumped on top of the managers van and refused to move until he spoke to a director of the company about the damage to his garden and "stolen parcels".
Mr Corley, who was sat on the vehicle at the time, said: "I get deliveries two to three times a week and noticed my grass was going patchy, but I thought it was something to do with shoes I'd been wearing.
"It's completely out of order and I'm holding a peaceful protest until I've spoken to a senior member of staff.
"I've been here for about 30 minutes now but I'll stay here all night if I have to."
Mr Corley got off of the van a few minutes later after he was told he would be arrested if he carried on.
Police spokesman Andy Saunders said: "Police were called to a dispute in Windermere Close, Dartford, at around 1.47pm, on Monday June 17.
"Officers attended and are investigating an allegation of an assault. No arrests were made."
