Teenagers punched a man several times as they tried to rob him of his phone.
The man, in his 20s, was assaulted by two younger individuals in Dartford.
The victim was beaten several times by two people, believed to be teenage boys, as he walked over a bridge which connects Station Approach to a car park in Overy Street at around 7pm on Wednesday, January 27.
The offenders tried to take a mobile phone out of the victim’s pocket. However, nothing was stolen and he suffered no serious injuries.
One of the suspects was short with short brown hair.
The second was wearing a grey jacket with his hood up.
A group of young people were also in the area and are believed to have been with the attackers, but were not part of the attempted robbery.
Officers are reviewing CCTV but would also like to hear from any witnesses, as well as motorists who were travelling in the area at the time and may have captured the suspects on their dashcams.
