A man has been seriously injured in a crash near Bluewater.

Police were called at around 3pm to reports a car had hit a lampost on the A296 at the shopping centre.

Three people are injured including a man who is reported to have serious injuries.

The air ambulance was called and is thought to have landed near Bluewater.

The slip road to Bluewater was closed until around 7.30pm to allow police to carry out accident investigation work.

The road is now open and congestion has eased.
